Mike and I have planned a honeymoon that we feel will be truly special and memorable for us both. Combining our love for adventure and our need for relaxation, we have decided to go to Southern Africa for some truly unforgettable experiences! First, we will fly to Cape Town. This city is considered one of the best destinations for travelers and provides loads of new experiences for us both, including a visit to Robben Island, Boulder Beach, and perhaps even an opportunity to do some cage diving with great white sharks (Mike still has not fully convinced me to do this one!).

From Cape Town, we plan to head to Kruger National Park in northeastern South Africa. We love adventure, making a safari a perfect choice for our honeymoon. We plan to spend 3 days getting an up close visit with some wild animals, in a wild place!

The final stop on our honeymoon will be our chance to relax!!! We are going to the island nation of Mauritius, which is just east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. Mauritius has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and is the perfect final stay for us before returning to Chicago.

We spent a lot of time planning our perfect, once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon, and we are excited that our family and friends can help us shape our first adventure together as husband and wife!!
