Aloha!

First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate, and we are so excited to be able to celebrate our wedding day with all of you.

We are moving to Arizona at the end of the year and have decided not to do a traditional wedding registry. We're planning a honeymoon in Kauai and Maui right after our special day. We heard about this type of registry and thought it would be a nice way to get our guests involved in our fun getaway! Not only will we be beginning our married lives together on some of the most beautiful islands in the world, we'll know that it's our friends and families who helped us get there. Below you'll find an assortment of activities that we've chosen together to make our honeymoon experience truly memorable. If you'd like to give us a gift for our wedding, we'd love it if you'd contribute to an activity/item of your choice.

We're going to Hawaii (Kauai and Maui)!

Kauai
We will be spending 4 days at the Marriott Waiohai Beach Club resort on the drier southern side of Kauai (thanks to Mark for the hotel recommendation!). We have several exciting activities planned such as zip lining, a helicopter tour, and kayaking; but also know that the island vibes can have a way of slowing things down...we'll be mixing in plenty of relaxing "chill" time. Neither of us have been to Kauai and can't wait to experience this beautiful island!

Maui
After Kauai, we're off to Maui for another 4 day adventure, staying at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort. Here we also have a fun framework of things to try, ranging from new things like surf lessons and whale watching...to being right at home renting a Harley (of course with slightly different scenery from what we're used to in the bay area!). And we're also looking forward to having dinner at the famous Mama's Fish House. Thank you Vickie for all the great suggestions of things to do in Maui!

Flight to Kauai - Our honeymoon begins bright and early with a 7:00am flight from Oakland to Seattle. We have a brief layover and then continue on to Lihue, Kauai, arriving at 2:00pm. We suspect we'll be catching up on sleep most of the way!

Car in Kauai - We'll be staying away from fire breathing exotic cars and renting a practical vehicle from Dollar rent a car when we land in Lihue. Maybe we'll get a roller skate like the one in the picture to the left..
