Hi everyone!

We'd like to start by saying that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate and we are so thrilled that we will be able to share this happy occasion with you! Thank you for being a part of our story as individuals and for remaining a part of our story as a couple!

Aside from each other, two of our greatest passions in life are food and traveling, so a honeymoon registry made a lot of sense to us. While we have taken many exciting trips together, this will be our first real adventure as husband and wife and so we're planning on some life-long memories to go with it! These gifts are the first step toward creating those memories, so we greatly appreciate and will fondly remember them for many years to come. After all, the memories from our honeymoon will likely last longer than a new set of wine glasses (especially at Andrew's breakage rate!).

We'll undoubtedly photo-document our experience and look forward to a time we can share our experiences with you--perhaps on a trip of your own to visit us in our new home in Hawaii (you've got a year or so to save up before we'll both be there, so start filling up those piggy banks)!

We're going to St Thomas and St. John, USVI!

We are excited to have actually carved a week out of our schedules after Andrew graduates from Tufts' School of Medicine on May 20th to take off to Bellavista, a beautiful bed and breakfast nestled into one of the gorgeous hillsides of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands! A week of relaxing, island exploring and time together may be just what the DOCTORS ordered... :o)

Since we'll be spending the better part of the next three years on an island in the Pacific, we figured we'd stay a bit closer to home. We spent a long time researching destinations, but when we came across the quaint Bellavista B&B it was clear we had found "our spot." We'd never seen so many fantastic reviews--people seem to do nothing but rave about everything from the location to the decor to the food to the special touches--and the very personal spirit of the place is just our style. We'll be staying in the "Bambooshay" room, a Caribbean word meaning "to celebrate in island style"...seems appropriate, no?

We're looking forward to the rest and relaxation, but also for some new adventures! From our home base overlooking the harbor and the historic town of Charlotte Amalie, we plan to explore what the beaches, towns and hills of St Thomas have to offer--not to mention taking advantage of the Caribbean on all sides! We also plan to take the ferry to St. John to check out the Virgin Island's National Park among other things.

It will be a long-awaited vacation, a much anticipated honeymoon and a cherished week of time to be together before Andrew has to report to Hawaii to begin his training! Thanks for thinking about helping to create some of these memories for us...
