Thank you for visiting our honeymoon registry! June is fast approaching and Jessica and I are so excited about our trip to Hawaii. Neither of us have ever been and we are looking forward to 10 wonderful days of sand and sun on the islands of Oahu and Maui.

We've registered for a few items at Crate & Barrel and Jessica was gracious enough to let me register for a few items at The Home Depot :), but as Jessica and I have both lived on our own we already have many of the household items we need to start our life together. This website is a unique opportunity for our friends and family to help us have a wonderful honeymoon experience. We are so grateful to everyone who is helping to make this dream honeymoon a reality and we look forward to seeing all of you in June, if not before. Thank you all so very much.

We're going to Hawaii!

We will spend our first 5 nights on the island of Oahu on <a href="http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/hnlmc">Waikiki Beach</a>. If we can tear ourselves away from the beach for a few hours, we'd like to check out some of the sights of Hawaii's capital city. Pearl Harbor is tops on my list and I'm sure we can find a few other ways to spend some time. While we're at the beach, we may try some surfing and snorkeling lessons. It should be a lot of fun.

On Saturday morning we'll be flying to <a href="http://themahana.com/?gclid=CLjI8d3tgJICFQLwPAodtQ_e_Q">Maui</a>. We'll spend 5 days there soaking up some sun and traveling the <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2007/TRAVEL/DESTINATIONS/02/23/hana.hawaii/index.html">Road to Hana</a>. This will also be a perfect place to see an authentic Hawaiian luau. Hopefully, we'll be relaxed enough to endure the 12 hours of travel back to Indianapolis.

It will be a fun, relaxing time and we are both looking forward to this trip. Camera - As much as I hate taking and being in pictures, it's possible Jess and I will never get back to Hawaii and it would be a shame to have no record of our time there. A nice camera will help us capture those memories.

Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa - Our room is going to be fantastic. I spent a lot of time researching hotels and this is a great one. We should have one of the best views on the island!

ResortQuest Mahana at Kaanapali - This is our beach condo on Maui. We are steps from one of the best beaches on the island. Good times.

Jeep - I've reserved a Jeep Wrangler because I think that's the only way to drive around a tropical island paradise! I just need to remember to get enough gas to travel the Road to Hana.

Gas is EXPENSIVE in Hawaii and most of Maui is a little off the beaten path. While Hawaiians walked the Road to Hana for hundreds of years, it doesn't sound like a lot of fun for a honeymoon.

Dinner & Dancing - While we're in Oahu, we'd like to try some fresh sushi. One of the best restaurants in town is actually in our hotel.

Helicopter Tour - If the opportunity is available, I think this would be a lot of fun for both Jess & me. She's never ridden in a helicopter and I would imagine there's no better way to see Diamond Head.
