Alexander & Lia

August 21, 2010

Hello family, friends and enemies,

We had heard about this idea from a friend of ours and it sounded like a great way for our loved ones to contribute to our new beginnings together by help in launching us off to ......Italy! As you may or may not know LIa is in fact part Italian, we don't know which part, and it is high time for her to see the wonders of this land. Alex has been once but after blowing too much time in Espana partying with Italians there was little time left for much wandering in Italy itself. So our plan is to see the calf, ankle, toes, heel and possibly another leg. What? The boot folks, Italy looks like a boot and across the Adriatic see lies Croatia, (also shaped like a leg), where Alex has a sculptor friend in Split, not to mention the Dalmatian coastline is supposed to be incredible and we love coastlines. So please have a look at our plan and thank you for all the love and support.

Gelato. Alex found a Gelateria in Rome so fantastical that he kept going back. Every day. Several times a day the whole time he was there. In fact, he still waxes all dreamy when he talks about the Mango Gelato he had there.
