Hi,

Many people have asked us about wedding gifts and we'd like to say that just coming to our big day is gift enough. Those of you who are making the effort to fly in, particularly from the UK, we want you to know we're just so pleased you can make it.

Living in a little flat in New York city, we don't find ourselves needing much in the way of housewares or furnishings. But we've put together this registry to tell you a little bit about our honeymoon and let you add little touches to it. Those memories will last longer than any knives or glasses.

A reminder, our main page with all the details and locations and related charities is here: http://sites.google.com/site/laceyandchrisgethitched/

Love,
Chris and Lacey

We're going to Fernando De Noronha!

The credit for finding this idyllic island goes to Haroon and his Brazilian traveling companions. Fernando De Noronha is a remote island in the tropical Atlantic, 220 miles off the coast of Brazil. It's a protected area, with a limited number of visitors at any time. Not easy to get to, but remote and peaceful once you get there.

The accommodation is in local pousadas (guesthouses), and the island is protected from further development. It's only 7 square miles in size, but never crowded. We're looking forward to two weeks of sunsets on the cliffs, swimming with the dolphins, diving, surfing, sailing and above all just relaxing on the deserted beaches.

So we hope you can help us out with some of these activities! As you know we're both active travelers and we'll do our best to take photos and document the memories of each trip. Thank you so much for helping us have an unforgettable honeymoon!

Buggy hire! The roads in Fernando are mainly dirt tracks and while we'll be walking a lot, a few days on a buggy will help us see all the island and get back safe from sunset spots.

Surfing lessons - Lacey grew up a long time ago in Hawaii, so her surfing skills are a little rusty and Chris' are non-existent! The swells can get big in Fernando, so some help would be a good idea.

Pousada in Olinda, near Recife. This charming town on the mainland is where we'll spend our last night before flying back to New York. This little guesthouse is over two hundred years old, tucked away in the old quarter.
Gift Fulfilled
Sailing trip round the archipelago. Fernando de Noronha is one island in a chain of extinct underwater volcanoes. We'd love to explore more and sail around the other islands for a day.
Gift Fulfilled
Scuba trips! The pristine ocean around Fernando has its own resident pod of dolphins as well as turtles and huge shoals of fish. As it's warm water, we'll both be taking a dip with Atlantis Divers.
Gift Fulfilled
Dinner at Ze Maria. We're told this is one of the best restaurants on the island, with wonderful seafood. We'll have dinner here on the Saturday night.
Gift Fulfilled
Snorkelling with the dolphins. Fernando has a resident pod of spinner dolphins, which are protected. We hope to head out to see them at least a couple of days.
Gift Fulfilled
Insect repellants for Chris! One drawback of a tropical island is the voracious mosquitos that will threaten sunsets outside. Help team morale with state-of-the-art mozzy shields for Chris! .

Ok, not so much a honeymoon present but something for this summer's partying. Everyone will love a game of baggo for the terrace.
