Hi there,

If you're reading this, we're guessing you weren't put off by the idea of registering for honeymoon extras. Frankly, opinions vary on this. Ours did from one day to the next. However, we ultimately ended up at "ah, what the heck?"

If you were put off and you're here anyway, we plead with you to: (a.) leave immediately (b.) wipe all traces of this moment from both your memory and your browser's history, and (c.) go back to thinking of us as gracious, well-mannered individuals.

The truth is, we would be beyond thrilled with a more traditional favor, or - really and truly - the considerable gift of your presence, thoughts and prayers. That said, we've been toasting bread and busting dust successfully for some years now and figured it might be nice to provide a more "experiential" option for those who are similarly minded.

Wasn't that thoughtful of us?

Right, well, mentioned on this site are a few things that would certainly make our trip extra-special. We chose this particular service because it does not apply fees on the "giver" end (that's you), and it promotes a feature that automatically separates a percentage of all contributions and directs it toward a cause much more deserving than that of our indulgence.

Again, so thoughtful.

In conclusion, we'd like to leave you with the assurance that the naming rights associated with your sponsorship are binding and will never expire. That's right, for the rest of our lives, anytime an experience from our trip is captioned in a slide-show, referenced at a dinner party, or simply recollected in casual conversation, it will be done so as "The Julius D. Smith Candlelight Dinner," or "The Rhonda P. Jenkins Booze Cruise and Foam Party,"*** etc.

All our love and thanks,
Michael and Maria

***We would, of course, never really register for an item like that. Some things are just more fulfilling when procured with your own, hard-earned dollars :)

We're going to Christ Church, Barbados!

Here's to hiking, swimming, reading, eating, drinking, surfing, lazing and aloe.

SURF LESSON. Maria said she's game. Could be the start of a shared, lifelong hobby. On the other hand, time apart can be a good thing. Stay tuned.
