Ryan & Brianne

May 29, 2010

Hello everyone! We are counting down to the big day on May 29, we are so happy to be getting married! Thank you to all for making the long journey to Portland, Maine to be part of the day with us. We are looking forward to sharing the celebration with you and we hope you will get to enjoy Maine a little bit too.

We are very excited to be registered for some lovely new things for our new married (!) home life, but we also wanted to register for something a little different. We love traveling together, and have been eagerly planning this honeymoon as a great adventure together in our first days of marriage. We registered for some of the activities we had planned to give our guests the chance to gift us something different and something very memorable.

Lots of love to everyone, and we hope you enjoy the wedding weekend in Maine!

Brianne & Ryan

We're going to Maui!

Brianne and Ryan have chosen the beautiful island of Maui for their honeymoon! They plan to travel around the island to see a little bit of all the island has to offer. Here is the plan:

First Stop: Kihei
The couple will stay next to the Kama 'ole beaches I,II, and III with great swimming and snorkeling. During this part of the trip, they are also going to take a snorkeling trip to the Molokini Crater, a rim volcanic rock in a crescent shape that harbors plenty of sea life and is a famous Maui snorkel site. This will be our first time snorkeling!

Next Up: Hana
Hana is the remote eastern part of Maui where outdoor adventures and quiet are the major attractions. They will stay in a small, one suite only bed and breakfast that is within walking distance of the 7 Sacred Pools, a series of waterfalls and rocky pools for swimming and hiking. The day trips will include a drive up the famous Hana Highway along the rugged coastline to spend a day at the Black Sands Beach and the Red Sands Beach. They also plan to visit the volcanoes in Haleakala National Park.

And Finally: Wailea
This will be the last stop on the Maui honeymoon adventure where Ryan and Bri are planning some rest and relaxation. Pool time, yoga lessons for Bri, golf for Ryan, and maybe even a trip to the spa.
