Hi everyone!

If you are able to make it to the wedding, your presence will be the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.

We hope you find this registry as a way to share in our honeymoon that we've been waiting to take for four years. ;) Although Gemma and I have taken many trips, it will be our first as husband and wife and we are so excited. With my desire to have any appliance to do something for me, we've collected the majority of household items that we need; therefore, we decided to do a honeymoon registry. This will also allow us to make you a part of the post-wedding extravaganza.

We'll do our best to document our experience via photo and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note.

We're going to Spain!

IT'S OFFICIAL. After several weekends and many "discussions" around the honeymoon distination, we've decided to try our luck in a couple of locations. We want keep the romance going from the wedding through the honeymoon and no better place to do that than Paris, France. We know, we know, French hate Americans but that we can deal with them frenchies I'm sure. You may ask, "how did that location get picked?" Well, Gemma has always wanted to travel to Europe. As for me, a beach location where I can get a good tan and play in the water is ideal. (gemma reminded me she doesn't need a tan)

I didn't give up that easy though. So we compromised, as I'm sure we will have to do many, many more times as a married couple.

Our honeymoon tour will begin in Barcelona, Spain and then head up to Paris, France and then down to Ibiza, Spain. We get the best of everything. Culture, romance, and sun.....

Our honeymoon starts with a short 15 hour flight to Barcelona. We are very excited to get our life started with a bang and a trip overseas to Europe is just the way to do it.

We will be staying at Salles Pere IV when we arrive in Barcelona. This will be our first night alone as a married couple in a European city. Watch out Barcelona for the fireworks from America. We will be staying here for four nights.

After four glarious nights in Barcelona, we will jump on a short plane trip to one of the romantic cities in the world....no not Watertown, SD but Paris, France.

We will be staying in Paris for 4 days. Since Paris is very expensive, we decided on a quaint hotel in a single room....which means single bed. Yes I said single, hope we don't want some space!!

Bistro Melrose We want to try the local cuisine so we've selected a different french restaurant to try each night we are in Paris. We picked this one because Gemma thought is was "Melrose Place" from TV. Just kidding.

Yes....While we are in Paris, we willl do all the romantic excursions like a Seine River Dinner Cruise were we will see the city from the water and dine the best french courses.

French Restaurant Number 2: Bistro De La Muette This will be our elegant night out in Paris. Bistro De La Muette is located in the quaint 16th St. district. We will enjoy the finist french cuisine while seating next to a dancing fireplace.

Romantic Horse and Carriage Ride through Paris. We will begin at the Eiffel Tower and enjoy a unique tour through the city. This will prevent us from the Chevy Chase episode in European vacation where they drove around big ben 100 times....

We have to bring the South Dakota country to Paris so we chose this restaurant that has a little country atmosphere. I'll be the judge if they really know what country is..okay maybe it is a different kind of country there.

We decided that while we were in Paris we would take the time to educate ourselves on the great French artist and see this amazingly beautiful woman they called Mona Lisa. As museums go, the Louvre in Paris is quite simply a mammoth.

To take in the beautiful coastline of Spain, we'll be taking a ferry from Barcelona to Ibiza to start our relaxing, fun in the sun part of the honeymoon.

Hotel Club Bahamas Ibiza We'll be staying at Hotel Club Bahamas Ibiza for the end of our honeymoon. We'll take some time to relax before heading back to the States.
