Hello all -

First off, thank you for coming to our honeymoon page. You probably know that travel is very important to us, and we've created this site to share a little piece of that with you.

We are so grateful for each of you and look forward to approaching our life together with the awareness of your support and love. We will not sleep on your faith.

Now, lets get down to that support part. The two of us, combined, have a collection of household items on par with The White House. For instance, 3 Braun coffee grinders, 2 Deluxe edition Kitchen Aid mixers with after market attachments, a jaw dropping number of linens etc... To be clear, we don't want any more "stuff".

So, in lieu of a registry, we simply find the most meaning in traveling together and feel there is nothing our friends and family could provide us that would be more valuable than time with each other exploring the world.

Please take a spin around and familiarize yourself with our plans. It will be an amazing adventure for us both as we've never been to Asia. If you've been and want to share some suggestions with us, that would be great. We will see you at our Ball on July 2nd!

All our love.

valerie and sam.

We're going to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam!

Right after we got engaged and returned to Denver, Thailand was featured in the New York Times' <a href="http://travel.nytimes.com/travel/guides/asia/sri-lanka/overview.html">"31 Places to go in 2010"</a>. We had no choice but to follow their suggestion based on our opinion of the NYT. We imagine that the majority of our time will be spent lounging on the sugary white sand and bobbing in crystal clear water (it's our honeymoon afterall!). Thailand has always been on "the list" of places to go in life. The people are kind, the food delicious (if not the hottest in the world), the beaches are exquisite and the price is good.
Cambodia and Vietnam are both incredibly rich in culture and history, full of lush landscapes and noodle bowls. Apparently, we could come face to face with "free-roaming elephants and pick-pocketing monkeys".

We're so excited to explore these far off countries and feel so grateful to be able to do so! Thank you for helping us make it possible.
