Hi everyone!
Thank you for visiting our honeymoon registry. We are looking forward to seeing everybody in July for our wedding. It will be wonderful to have all of our friends and family there to share this special day with us. We hope you'll enjoy this special day as much as we will!
We have been blessed to have a lot of the "essential" home items a couple needs. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! While Jim and I have taken many trips together, we are looking forward to our first real adventure as husband and wife. It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip that we finally settled on a honeymoon registry. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come.
We'll do our best to document our experience via photo and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note.
Thanks again and we can't wait to see you at the wedding!
Love,
Jim and Darenda
We're going to Ireland!
After our wonderful wedding celebration on July 24th we'll be departing Miami for an overnight flight to Dublin, Ireland. Upon arrival we'll check into our hotel for a two night stay where we will tour the capital city. On our second day in Dublin we will be taking a tour of the Wicklow mountains famed for it's breathtaking scenery which includes hidden lakes and waterfalls.
On day 3 we will pick up our right hand drive rental car and attempt to navigate on the other side of the road (wish us luck!). We will be heading south to visit the Rock of Cashel and the town of Waterford famous for it's crystal. After a long day of sightseeing we will be checking into our hotel in Cork.
On day 4 we will be visiting the Blarney Castle where we will kiss the Blarney Stone and hopefully gain the gift of gab. The afternoon will be spent on the open water for whale and dolphin watching. That evening we will be spending our first night in a B&B in Ireland.
On day 5 we head to Killarney National Forest and the Muckross house and finish the afternoon with sea kayaking off the Dingle Peninsula. The tours take you alongside castles and through sea caves. That evening we check into our hotel and unwind at a traditional Irish pub for a pint and some local music.
On day 6 we'll start our day off with a drive north to the awe inspiring Cliffs of Moher. A short drive later we will be touring the Burren perfumery and the Kylemoore Abbey Castle. Later in the day we'll be checking into our hotel in Sligo for the night.
On day 7 we're heading north to visit the Bushmill Distillery and the natural wonder of Giant's Causeway. We'll be spending part of the afternoon visiting the shipyard that was the birthplace of the Titanic. The remainder of our afternoon will be spent touring Belfast and driving south to the Castle Leslie where we'll finally get to spend the night like royalty.
On day 8 we will be touring Newgrange which is a prehistoric heritage sight that dates back 600 years before the great pyramids of Egypt.
On day 9 our last day in the beautiful country of Ireland we'll be returning our rental car that probably by this point we've gotten the hang of and hopping on our plane for our flight back to the U.S.
