We've been asked what we'd like for a gift and the answer is simple: you, at our wedding, having a great time.

But if you insist then we'll say what we'd also love is the most amazing honeymoon possible. We have the basics covered but we're hoping for the holiday of a lifetime. We want to see and do everything we've dreamed about and if you'd like to help us with that then read on!

We're going to Mauritius and South Africa!

We are very much looking forward to our amazing honeymoon in Mauritius and South Africa. Our journey begins with our arrival in Mauritius where we will be staying at The Grand Mauritian luxury hotel. We will spend our days enjoying the gorgeous beaches of the island and the amazing diving in the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean.

We then fly to Johannesburg where we are transferred by charter plane to the Madikwe Lodge to begin our safari. We'll stay in a world class luxury bungalow as we partake in morning and nighttime game drives to witness the big five in their natural habitat.

Back in Johannesburg, we will catch a plane to Cape Town to pick up a rental car and drive the scenic landscape of the Cape's most beautiful vineyards. We will spend our days enjoying sumptuous food and indulging in the best South African wine.

Our next stop is the coastal town of Hermanus where during this time of year the Southern Right Whale is nursing their young. Perched atop an ocean side cliff, the Birkenhead House gives us a wonderful vantage point to view these magnificent creatures.

We're back to Cape Town to enjoy the city sights of this South African gem. We'll stay in the modern luxury of Kensington Place located at the foot of the majestic Table Mountain. From here will be in walking distance of all the city's great architectural sights.

Alas, our journey must end and we have to return home but we truly believe this will be one of the most incredible experiences of our lives, creating memories that will last forever.
