We decided that Costa Rica is the perfect choice for our honeymoon! It combines our desire for a beach with the option for some fun and adventure!

12/14/09- we fly from New York City to San Jose Costa Rica. We will rent a car (which Lenny has already told me I am not allowed to drive) and head to Manuel Antonio National Park on the central Pacific Coast.

12/14/09-12/22/09- the next 10 days will be spent at the Issimo Suites, a charming boutique hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean and nestled in a pristine snorkeling cove. We will be enjoying the ocean by relaxing on the beach, snorkeling, kayaking, taking a sailing tour, rafting and jet skiing! Manuel Antonio is a national park so we will also be exploring the rain forests by hiking, touring the park to see rare animals ( including LOTS of monkeys), canopy zip-lining, ATV touring, and night hiking. The possibilities are endless, we most certainly will not be bored!

12/22/09-12/25/09- we will leave Manuel Antonio and drive to Arenal, north central Costa Rica. Arenal is all about nature. The main attraction is a live volcano and natural hot springs!

12/25/09-12/27/09- we will be spend a day in San Jose exploring the city before we head back to NYC on Sunday December 27th...back to reality :(
