Thank you for visiting our honeymoon registry. We are looking forward to seeing all of our friends and family in Washington, DC in August. We are both touched and honored to have you all share our wedding day.

Traveling is one of the things that we enjoy most, and we cannot imagine a better gift than for you to help us create a once in a lifetime experience. The next best thing to having you in Tahiti with us is to have you be part of our honeymoon by helping us with special dinners, massages, and excursions while we are in French Polynesia. Please see the registry for descriptions of some of the things we have researched and plan to do during our time in Tahiti.

We're going to French Polynesia!

We set off to Tahiti on a 8 hour flight from Los Angeles airport to Papeete, Tahiti. In Papeete, we'll be recuperating from the jet lag and checking out the bustling capital city before heading out to the beaches.

We will then take a quick flight to the island of Huahine. Relatively unchanged by the modern world, Huahine with its lush forests, untamed landscape, and quaint villages promises to offer a slower taste of old Polynesia.

We will then leave Huahine and go to the world famous destination of Bora Bora, where we will spend 5 nights in an overwater bungalow. Paradise found!

After some long flights and a late night arrival, we'll start the trip in style by having a decadent breakfast delivered to our room so we can eat on our balcony while enjoying this magnificant view!

Le Tere Faati tour: we'll tour the island via open-air le truck, with Tahitian musicians entertaining us all the way. It stops at waterfalls, a beach, Tautira, the Vapahi Garden, and in Paea.

Boat Snorkeling Tour: We'll rest on the pure white sandbanks of nearby coral islands they call motus, go for in a dip in the crystalline lagoon waters and snorkel among the most impressive coral reefs of Huahine.

Circle-Island Tour. A lagoon boat tour with stops for snorkeling and then hopping on a bus to wind through forests and up to breathtaking vistas with visits to the villages and walks among historical sites.

For dinner one night we want to try out Te Nahe at Relais Mahana, offering a charming local atmosphere of the isolated southern island with a waterfront setting and Polynesian, French, and International cuisine favored by the locals.

There are so many activities we'd love to do on the world's most famous lagoon. A great way to see the vivid coral and schools of tropical fish is on a lagoon tour in a glass bottom boat.

One day here we'd like to take a guided tour skimming around the island by boat, and hopping off at beaches and a tiny motu along the way for a picnic lunch.

How fun to start one of our days with an unforgettable breakfast brought to our balcony by outrigger canoe! The canoe brings Polynesian fruits, pastries, and juices to enjoy while watching the sun come up.

Shark & Ray feeding. This excursion originated on Bora Bora. we'll float in the lagoon waters and docile sharks arrive in schools and are hand-fed by our guide. Later in the same tour, we'll stand in shallow waters as rays circle the group.

There is just one company that offers experiencing Bora Bora by horseback - and its actually located on a private motu in the lagoon! There, we'll ride horses along the beaches of a tropical motu in total peace and surrounding beauty.

We'd like to take a sunset cruise with O'Hana Cruises. We'll depart for the lagoon around 4:00, plenty of time to enjoy the spectacular colors of the setting sun as we sip Tahitian cocktails and learn about the history of the Tahitian islands.

We'll hopefully enjoy a night out at one of the most famous restaurants on Bora Bora, Bloody Mary's. The evening includes round-trip transfers to/from the restaurant and a classical Tahitian dinner and entertainment.

This would be an excursion in a 4-wheel drive off the beaten path. We'd drive through the Vaitape on Pofai Bay and ascend Panou Hill for a view of the island's natural harbor. Then into the valley of Faanui with a breathtaking view of Faanui Bay.

Parasailing for 2! If we (Leanne) is brave enough. We'd take-off and land from the boat with the help of experienced guides. During the flight we could see skates, sharks,turtles and birds and the surrounding islands of Tahaa and Raiatea.
