We are so thrilled to have found each other and be starting our lives together, supported by all of you, our wonderful friends and family.

We are kicking off our journey, with a physical journey... across the pond.

We'll be honeymooning in England and Scotland for two glorious weeks. Thanks in large part to a very generous gift from Grandma Connie, our accommodations are largely covered. Any further contributions you make will go toward helping us indulge in this amazing trip of a lifetime at such a special time for us. We are blessed to have lots of stuff - this slightly nontraditional gift will help us make a memory.

Know too that any items purchased through this site via the "i do foundation" Web site (if you came from there, it's already taken care of) <a href="http://www.idofoundation.org/cgi-bin/mvc.cgi?page=ourcharity.html&OccasionID=35641">will include a donation to the Cancer Research Institute</a>, a very important cause to both of us, chosen particularly in memory of both our dads, who died far too young from this disease.

We're going to UK: Bath, York, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London!

We are so excited for our two-week journey "across the pond" - we'll be starting off seeing the parts of England and Scotland we've never seen: spa-ing and relaxing in Bath, then touring Stonehenge and the Cotswolds, historic York, Edinburgh's castles and literary sites, the Art Noveau architecture of Glasgow. Then we'll train back to London, where while we've both been before, we're looking forward to spending a luxurious week together in one of our favorite and most wonderful cities.

Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful journey - both the trip and the bigger one we're embarking on-- coupledom.
