AFTER RECEIVING OUR WEDDING INVITE SO MANY OF YOU HAVE BEEN ASKING ABOUT OUR GIFT REGISTRY......
Well, first off, we would like to say that we both feel very strongly that your presence at our wedding in Ibiza is the greatest gift that we could ever ask for... The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something that we deeply appreciate, and we cannot wait to celebrate our very special occasion with you - Ibiza style!
As you all know, our lifestyle at the moment is rather nomadic and we do not have a permanent base in either Cape Town or Ibiza ,as of yet, and are unsure as to when this will happen. We already have a huge amount of things in storage in Cape Town and we really do not need anything else to add to that.
Because of this, we have decided to create our gift registry around our two-week honeymoon in Bali which we plan on taking when we leave Europe at the end of the Ibiza season in October.
The idea is for you to be able to contribute to this special trip - whether it be a night at our dream hotel destination, a dinner for two on the beach, a day of snorkeling, or bicycle rentals for two - and help us create wonderful new memories that we can share and enjoy for years to come.
Please do not feel obligated to give us a gift! But if you should choose to do so, helping us to make the most of our honeymoon would be absolutely amazing.

Tuesday 13 October 2009... our honeymoon begins....
We will be flying from London to Kuala Lumpur via Dubai on Emirates airlines and then, finally, on to Denpasaar, Bali with Air Asia....
On our arrival at Denpassaar airport we will be met by a chauffer for a luxuriousl 1 and a half hour drive to Lombok, where Amankila Resort and 5 days of heavenly bliss awaits us!!!!
Amankila or 'peaceful hill' is an oasis of calm...
Perched on a cliff side overlooking the Lombok Strait, it is a haven of tranquility. Chic and understated, it draws on the traditional architecture of the region, and is possibly one of the most romantic destinations in Bali.
Here we hope to unwind and relax, soaking up the wonderful atmosphere, whilst being completely indulged!
Feeling revitalised and relaxed after Amankila, we will spend the next 10 days in a private villa in the popular Semiyak area, we'll hire a car and take the oppurtunity, over the next 10 days, to explore the many beautiful sides to Bali...
cocktails at Ku De Ta, a drive to Nusa Dua.. or where ever the mood takes us...
Wednesday 28 October will all but come too quickly... and sadly we will have to say a fond farewell to Beautiful Bali... but we will have such very special memories (and plenty photos too) which we will be able to share with you, our friends and family, for many years to come!
