Dearest family and friends,

Welcome to our honeymoon page! We are insanely excited about our upcoming trip to Mauritius, a small tropical island to the east of Madagascar off the coast of Africa. A quick web-search will inform you that it is an island rich in culture, history and, oh boy, romance! And the food, oh my goodness! We have read that a single dish can be influenced by Indian, Creole, Chinese and European cuisine (all on one plate). And certainly not to be left out are the white sand beaches, hiking and trekking, local markets, ancient ruins, nature reserves, and did we mention the food?

This adventure is surely going to be something we will never forget, and we are happy to share our plans and experiences with you all here on travelersjoy.
