We are so excited to share our wedding and honeymoon experience with our friends and family. Here's a preview of how we will be spending our time in beautiful Hawaii.

We decided to visit 2 islands on our trip (Erik hopes to find his friends from LOST while traveling the islands).

We begin our Hawaiian adventure at the Grand Hyatt in Kauai!!! We have been told by many that the Hyatt is THE best place to stay and relax after all the wedding festivities. We'll wind down for 5 nights here, visit the spa, enjoy the incredible ocean view, and of course, visit the water park on the resort! Erik is really excited for the waterslide!

The Hyatt offers lagoon kayaking, tubing, and snorkeling. We'll visit the Backcountry Zipline for some adventures- tubing down an old sugar plantation irrigation system, through open canals and several hand-dug tunnels. We'll also soar through the air on a 7-line zipline course, traversing the side of a mountain down to a lush bamboo grove.

Lastly, we will take a helicopter ride way above the island to see the beautiful scenery. We'll spend the rest of our time relaxing by the pool or on the beach, basking in the Hawaiian sun, and dining on the yummy Hawaiian cuisine.

Then we will island hop over to Maui for a 5-night stay. We'll cruise around in our rental car (hopefully a convertible or jeep!) We'll tour the Road to Hana, one of the most scenic (and long) drives. There are over 600 curves, 54 bridges, endless beaches, famous Hana banana bread and waterfalls that lead you to a beautiful park, where we'll have a picnic. Hana is referred to as 'The Land That Time Forgot', so you can imagine what is in store for us! We will also feast at the best luau in Hawaii at Lahaina. In between all of this, we may go horseback riding (not likely says Erik), parasailing, snorkeling, or ride a jet ski (very likely says Erik).

There certainly is not a shortage of activities to do in Hawaii, but we've chosen things that we have always wanted to experience. This will be our first vacation together in a looong time, and we can't wait to share our memories and experiences (through photos!) with you. This registry gives us the opportunity to do all of these once-in-a-lifetime things so we thank you for your generosity. We look forward to sharing funny stories and photos with you when we return.
