Our vacation starts out with us getting up early Friday morning to catch our flight to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. From there we will embark on our journey to the Caribbean Islands. We set off to sea aboard Carnival's brand new ship, Splendor. This ship features everything! Steve & I will stay in a balcony suite on the spa deck that gives us our own private access to the Cloud 9 Spa in which we can enjoy relaxation and feel rejuvinated in the thermal suite and thalassotherapy pool. After we are done relaxing in our heated lounge we will enjoy the beauty of Puerto Rico. We plan to do a lot of shopping there! Then we head to St. Thomas. During our stay in St. Thomas there is much to do, but only so much time to do it in. Some options are a Jeep and Beach Safari and taking a skyride to Paradise Point. I think Steve has done this already, but it will be a new adventure for me. Next, we head to La Romana, Dominican Republic. There is plenty of countryside beauty to experience here so I look forward to the tranquility of the small villages. Then we make our way to Grand Turk. We plan on doing a 4X4 safari, dune buggy around the island, and possibly even take a carriage ride throughout the countryside. Our next stop is to the amazing Nassau, Bahamas. There are many Atlantis excursions here and that would be neat to see and do. Lastly, we are at sea and ready to head back to Ft. Lauderdale, but the fun doesn't stop there. Upon arriving back in Florida we plan to make our way down to Miami and Key Largo. Then, we will head to Orlando and I will finally visit Universal Studios. And that sums up are much anticipated honeymoon. God willing our trip will be filled with lots of memories that we can share with our friends, family, and eventually our children. Needless to say, I am very excited and I am sure Steve is too!
