Greetings to all those we hold near and dear! Welcome to our honeymoon registry! We can't believe that our wedding is coming up so fast~~only three months away from the time we are writing! It has been a whirlwind since we met in August, but planning for the big day has really gone very smoothly for us. Could be since we are a little older and wiser than the average engaged couple. ;-) We are forever indebted to Mary Rohrs for telling my dad, Mike Mazza, all about how wonderful Steve is. And to my dad for coming to me one day shortly thereafter and saying, "I have someone I want you to meet..."
For the both of us, meeting and falling in love has been the greatest gift and blessing of our lives. We are truly grateful that people wish to share our joy by giving us gifts to help us as we begin our married life together. Since we will be starting off merging two homes into one, we already have many household items we need to organize. So, we have been trying to think of creative ways for friends and family members to help us celebrate our happiness. Gifts that also give back ~even in a small way~ to others less fortunate are most meaningful to us. By registering with the "I Do Foundation," we found a way for people to give to us and to give to others at the same time. And we also found a way for you to make help make our honeymoon the wonderful adventure we know it will be. For every gift purchased here, a small percentage will be given to a charity of our choice at no extra cost to you. And for those who wish to make a bigger donation to charity, you can visit our registry at www.justgive.org.
Thanks to all of you who have already sent cards, emails, and gifts and who have called us to congratulate us on our engagement! We look forward to celebrating our wedding day with you!
All our love,
Denise and Steve
We're going to Costa Rica!
Steve had fun researching and planning the itinerary for our honeymoon! He has always had an interest in visiting Costa Rica, and I was happy to let him read and discover interesting places for us to see and visit. He, always the computer guy, has included tons of links below for all of you to check out where we will be staying and some of the sites we would like to see.
When we arrive in Costa Rica, we will fly into the capital, San Jose and stay for a few nights at a hotel there called La Finca Rosa Blanca, http://www.finca-rblanca.co.cr/, if you want to check it out! The rooms are all unique and decorated differently.
We will be staying here upon arrival and also before our departure from Juan Santamaria International Airport. Here are the rooms we booked: http://www.finca-rblanca.co.cr/rooms/cafetal.shtml and
