Hi everyone!
First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, especially given the uncertainty that has been facing us all over the past year and half. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you. After a year or more of not seeing many of you, it is extremely meaningful to us both to see you on our Wedding day.
We also want to recognize that for many of you, traveling is just not an option right now, and respect your needs to stay safe and healthy during this time. We support your decision and can't wait to be with you again once things are safer, you'll be dearly missed!
We have been blessed to have a lot of the "essential" home items a newly engaged couple needs. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! While we have taken a few small exciting trips together, we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as husband and wife. It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip that we also settled on a honeymoon registry. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new set of wine glasses (especially at Andrew's breakage rate! He's already broken 3 this year!).

We're going to Bar Harbor, Maine!
Because of Covid, we felt it would be safer and therefore much more enjoyable to travel regionally to an area we hope to visit again and again for many years to come. We chose to honeymoon in Bar Harbor for a few reasons.
1. Its close so we don't have to fly! Being only a 4ish hour drive away from our wedding location, we'll have the convenience of bringing our own car along with us for this memorable journey. It'll also give Stephanie the chance to play and sing-a-long to her favorite road trip song, "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
2. Many of you know that Stephanie is one of the biggest lobster fans in the world. What better place than Bar Harbor to gain access to some massive and delicious crustaceans. We'll be able to practically eat them right off the boat giving Stephanie and Andrew some good ole' Rhody nostalgia. Being a match made in heaven, Stephanie is looking most forward to the tails, while Andrew can't wait to crush some claws!
3. Andrew, likes lobsters too, but his interests lie more in the ability to explore and adventure through one of the most beautiful national parks in the world. Hiking didn't bring us together (Thank you again, Boys Town), but it did become one of our most favorite activities to do together. We're both excited to take in the gorgeous views and hopefully catch sunrise at least once on top of Cadillac Mountain.
We'll be staying in town at the West Street Hotel with a harbor-side view to catch all the action in the harbor. With Bar Harbor's ONLY rooftop pool, we're excited to catch some epic views while basking in the sun, enjoying a few cocktails, and practicing our synchronized swim routine (just kidding on that last part).
