It was August 23, the year 2010
It was the date our honeymoon would begin

We've traveled the world, I proposed last year in Beijing
Honeymoon in Hawaii had nice sounding ring

The Hawaiian Islands was where we were going
Many adventures ahead and everyone knowing

Honeymoon registry made it easy for us
We got a convertible rental, instead of riding the bus

The flight was expensive and so was a night at the Hyatt
With Traveler's Joy, we could afford to buy it

We didn't need toasters, or new fancy knife
Just a romantic trip for me and my wife

We stayed in Kauai and then Oahu
There were many things that we wanted to do

We went hiking, sightseeing, scuba and sky diving
Saw the Jurassic Park set while we were out driving

We saw Pearl Harbor, sat on Waikiki Beach
Breadth taking sights that were within our reach

Our total trip cost about 3 or 4 grand
Most of it towards flight and the Hyatt brand

Our trip was not traditional in any kind of way
We did a shark cage dive in a shark infested bay

On September 3, our trip came to an end
We had used up every dollar we were given to spend
