Riviera Maya Mexico, 10/7-13/2007 How and why we chose our destination We chose a destination neither of us had ever been before and we chose Riviera Maya because of the climate and on a recommendation from a friend. Where we stayed, why we selected the establishment, and how we enjoyed our time there. Iberostar Grand Paraiso Hotel. We selected this because it is all-inclusive, adult only, the cost and the reviews were incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend this resort. Our favorite activities and experiences during the honeymoon and why. The spa, the watersports, the dining venues, the drinking venues and the fact that we had a butler assigned to our room. The restaurants were top-notch and all the drinks were top shelf. Anything we wanted or needed the butler would arrange for us - including having a bubble bath ready for us after dinner one night! The approximate cost of the honeymoon (including airfare). $4200 total. Would we recommend the destination to other honeymooners? We would only recommend this resort to people who like to be pampered on vacation.
