Hello Everyone-

Thank you for visiting our honeymoon registry! We decided to register for the gift of travel rather than traditional gifts because we just do not have room for housewares in our small apartment.

Since Heath has never been out of the country, we thought this would be a perfect time for him to go abroad. We have dreamed of visiting Europe, specifically the Mediterranean region, so we have planned a trip that will allow us to see as much as we can!

We are so excited for this trip of a lifetime. We can think of no better way to start our marriage than a romantic adventure together.

We really appreciate your support in sending us off to our wonderful honeymoon.

Lacey and Heath's Honeymoon Itinerary

Special thanks to Valerie from Odyssey Travel for helping us put this trip together!

Our honeymoon will start in Venice, Italy for an overnight stay at the Hotel All'Angelo
We will take a romantic gondola ride through the famous Venetian Canals and enjoy some wonderful Italian cuisine.

The next morning we will board our cruise ship the Ruby Princess for the beginning of our journey through the emerald blue waters of the Mediterranean.

The Ruby Princess ship will be the perfect mode of transportation for relaxing and spending time with one another. It is complete with dramatic piazza-style atrium featuring small-bite eateries and performing street entertainers, Movies Under the Stars, multiple entertainment options, a spa, fitness center, 5 pools, and expansive decks perfect for enjoying the scenery. We will sail for an entire day and night before arriving at our next destination.

Stop 1: Athens, Greece for a full day of sight seeing and exploring the temples of the Acropolis, Parthenon and the ancient Agora, the market and the social center of the ancient city.

Stop 2: Kusadasi, Turkey where we will enter the Magnesia Gate and explore ancient Ephesus after eating a private Turkish style lunch among the ruins.

Stop 3: Heath is thrilled for our visit to Istanbul, Turkey In Istanbul, we will explore St. Sophia, a superb work of Byzantine architecture. Tour Topkapi Palace, view its Harem and see the 7th largest diamond in the world. We will visit the Blue Mosque, adorned with six minarets and decorated with Iznik tiles. We hope to watch a carpet weaving demonstration in the Grand Bazaar and then shop for souvenirs!

Stop 4:Lacey cannot wait for the next stop on the beautiful island of Mykonos, Greece after her friend Alysia remarked that it was the most amazing place in the world. We hope to soak up some sun on the white sand beaches and enjoy the view of turquoise-colored water.

Stop 5: Naples/Capri, Italy is next on the itinerary. We will travel the Amalfi Coast, considered one of the most beautiful coastal drives in the world.

Stop 6: We will rest up on the boat before getting to Rome, Italy. We will have a busy day seeing the main sights on a guided drive and explore a quartet of Roman landmarks. We will visit the Vatican and tour St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museum. We will see Michelangelo's frescoes in the Sistine Chapel before continuing to the Colosseum, where gladiators clashed in mortal combat until the 5th century A.D.

Stop 7: At our stop in Florence/Pisa, Italy we will take a scenic drive travels through the rolling Tuscan Hills, famed for their premium olive oil and the acclaimed wines of Chianti. We will stop at a renowned estate for a wine tasting accompanied by local bread, olive oil and cheese. So romantic!

Stop 8: Monte Carlo, Monaco we will explore the old city of Monaco including the Royal Palace and the Cathedral where Princess Grace and Princes Rainier are interred. We will then spend the evening at the famous Place de Casino in Monte Carlo. Hope we are lucky!

Stop 9:Our final stop is Barcelona, Spain. We will depart the Ruby Princess and enjoy a quick day in Barcelona- making sure to get some authentic tapas.

We will then fly back home to share our wonderful experience with the friends and family who have made it possible!

Luggage- We need luggage to pack everything we will need for our honeymoon adventure and space to bring home souvenirs.
