Welcome to our honeymoon registry and mahalo nui loa for being a part of our honeymoon! After more than five years of dating, living together for over four years and buying a house, we are ridiculously excited to be starting the next chapter in our journey together! The countdown to our July 7th, 2012 wedding date and September 2nd, 2012 Portland wedding celebration has begun! We are so happy that our friends and families traveling from both near and far will be able to be a part of it.
When we were trying to decide about registering, we heard about honeymoon registration sites and thought that would be a great way for us to go. We also thought our family and friends would have fun knowing everything we wanted to do for our honeymoon and enjoy being a part of the planning of it. Not only will we be beginning our lives together on one of the most beautiful islands in the world, but it’s also another reminder that it was our friends and families who helped us get there.
With this in mind, we are making a break from the traditional registry of household items as we have already established a wonderful home in Portland together and as an alternative have registered for our honeymoon. Below you'll find an assortment of activities that we've chosen together to make our honeymoon experience truly memorable. The memories we will have from this trip will last us a lifetime and this gives you a chance to be a direct part of that. If you'd like to give us a gift for our wedding or Portland wedding celebration, we'd love it if you'd contribute to an activity or item of your choosing.
We have added a few items to the end of our registry towards the completion of restoring our house, Knotty Cakes Ranch. It's really the only items we need towards the next stage in our lives together. Figured this was as good of a place as any to register for these items.

We're going to Oahu and the Big Island!
Due to time off from work restrictions, we've had to push back the date of our honeymoon and won't be able to go right after the wedding. We will return to Hawaii to visit Oahu and the Big Island next year! A long as we get to go, we are happy! Even if we have to wait a bit to be able to go.
Once we get to Oahu we will visit the North Shore, have dinner at the top of Waikiki, visit back in time to an original tiki bar that predates Hawaii statehood by two years and go surfing! Our last leg of our honeymoon takes us to the Big Island for a lesson in Hawaiian history and culture, a helicopter ride to see active lava and topped off with a toast to the great Don the Beachcomber. We thank you, again for helping make this a reality for us.
