Local legend says that fishermen would paint their homes with bright colors so they could be visible from the sea. Today, many visitors make the half-hour boat trip from Venice to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, plus wonderful restaurants, Venice Lace Museum, and the island's maze of back streets.

This fairytale village looks like an AMAZING place to explore while on your honeymoon.
