Car rental for a day. In order to get around to experience all of these amazing places, we will need some transportation, and since the bus system appears to be lacking in this area, it appears that a car is the best way to do it on a short schedule.

Dinner at Yaxche Yucatecan Restaurant For Two This place in our Frommer's Mexico guide - serving the best traditional Yucatan peninsula cuisine. What will we have - the chaya or the xcatic chile stuffed with cochinita pibil?

Dinner for two at La Cueva del Chango. This restaurant's name in English means "Cave of the Small Monkey" - apparently this place is located in a real cavern, and there are two monkeys who hang out in the back of the place. Sounds intriguing!

Mexican Fiesta Dinner. Tacos, burritos, tamales, margaritas, mariachi singers - this dinner will be a quintessential Mexican delight!

Dessert for two (gluten-free, of course!) Marie's favorites are flourless chocolate cake and ice cream, or desserts with fruit. Adam loves hot and chocolatey desserts, or a fine creme brulee. A great way for us to top off a good dinner.

Salsa Dancing night out: It's not a secret, Marie loves to dance. You can see for yourself at our wedding. So to satisfy her need for dancing, Latin American style, we will head out to the hippest dance club in town, the Mambo Cafe.

Snorkeling Lessons/Day Trip: The Mexican riviera is famous for its beautiful coral reefs, but first we have to learn how to snorkel. This package includes lessons, lunch drinks, and of course good snorkeling time to check out the exotic sea life.

Guided tour of Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins: Of the many ruins in the area left behind by the ancient Maya civilization, Chichen Itza is the most famous. To maximize the experience we will take a guided tour of the ruins. We will take lotsa pictures for ya

Horseback trip along the beach: We don't have much experience horseback riding, but we can't imagine a better place than a beach to try it out. Hopefully the horses won't decide they need to stop and sunbathe.

"Forest and Float" Tour through Sian Kaan National Park: www.siankaantours.org This is an ecological park tour that of course includes lots of floating and hiking through forests. This will be really fun!
