Hi friends and fam. We're going to Hawaii. The mission is total relaxation. The majority of our trip will be spent on tourist-devoid island, Molokai. Miles of untracked sand just out the back door of a condo with a bed on the porch and a very nice kitchen. We'll need a rental car of course, and plenty of fish, and maybe some airfare to hop over to the big island for a stretch. There, we'll need a couple nice nights out on the town and probably a couple jet skis to play around on.

Since we were in no need of registry items we stumbled upon this as the next best option. You can contribute to things like a massage on the beach, or car rental for a day, or one night in the condo, or two hours in the air over the Pacific.

We have some friends and family in Hawaii so this trip should be a lot of fun. A good mix of local vibe and touristic abandon. Thank you all for your insistent generosity. You are far too kind.

Love, Kev n Leslie

We're going to Honolulu, Maunaloa, Kona!

A short jump from Honolulu, we will be staying in a newly renovated beachfront condo in Maunaloa, on the island of Molokai. The condo is situated just above the one of the widest stretches of white sand beaches in the world known as Papohaku beach. Here we will sleep off our jet lag for a few days before gearing up to explore the island more thoroughly. There are horses and mopeds to do this on, boats and helicopters. Half of a massive volcano that helped create this island collapsed and rolled out into the ocean a century or two ago leaving behind some of the largest ocean cliffs in the world. You may remember them from the introductory shots in Jurassic Park III (10/10 - 10/14).

Following peaceful quiet of Molokai we find our way to the big island of Hawaii. Here we'll get more into all the fun things you do as a tourist: couples massage on the beach, romantic dinners, the obligatory luau, zippin around on jet skis, etc. The big island has the most diversity so we're giving ourselves a week to check it out and then it's back to New York to resume our lives, newly improved, as a happily married couple.

Thanks to everyone for their love and support. Aloha.
