Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for visiting our honeymoon registry as we know it is probably as new to many of you as it was to us. After our engagement last summer in Santa Barbara and the subsequent moving in together, we realized very quickly how combining two homes into one could create quite a space issue. Thankfully, the similarities that we have in regards to tastes and creative visions have avoided any real stylistic debates within our home...but we came to the realization that not only did we have a home with all of the amenities that we could possibly want or need, but we actually had two in many instances.
With that said, we reached quite a quandary when deciding where to register. After our process of elimination led to one thing that we actually "needed"... the selection of a beautiful China set (I think that alone gives reason for Dani to work on her cooking and hosting acumen) we got lucky with the suggestion of one friend. That suggestion provided the answer to all of our other registry concerns and it gives all of our loved one's the opportunity to play an immediate role in the beginning of our lives together by creating a registry geared strictly towards our honeymoon helping us to create the memories that will last us a lifetime.
I know many of you may be upset that you won't be able to put a new toaster oven or set of themed salt and pepper shakers in our kitchen but we couldn't be more excited to be able to share in the planning of our honeymoon with you. As the big day draws closer, we are so excited to see everybody and realize how blessed we will be to have all of our friends and family there to share this special day with us. We'll see you all very soon.
~Dani & Ryan
We're going to Punta Mita, BahÃa de Banderas, Nayarit, México!
In order to take full advantage of one portion of our Polexican matrimony, we decided to share our first days as a married couple on the beautiful beaches of Mexico...I guess Poland will have to wait. And after countless hours of research and discussion, we think that we found the perfect place for us in the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, México.
Just 42 kilometres (26 miles) from Puerto Vallarta, the Resort is an unrivalled luxury Mexican vacation experience, edged in pristine white-sand beaches, natural islands and the turquoise Pacific. From the beginning, the dream honeymoon seemed to have 3 potential sides to it which we answered all in one location...a unique spa to pamper and dote upon Dani (the couples massage on the beach sounds pretty exciting as well), a world class Jack Nicklaus golf course (complete with an island green, played beside the waves) for Ryan and the fine dining and simple luxuries such as hammocks on the beach for us both to enjoy.
The magical charm and ideal weather of Mexico's west coast was an easy choice for us as the Resort is on the northern tip of the BahÃa de Banderas, one of the largest natural bays on the Pacific Coast. This new development spreads over 1,100 hectares (2,700 acres) of the Mexican coastal peninsula. The white sand beaches, clear blue waters and views of the mountains are unparalleled.
Punta Mita is considered one of the area's best spots for scuba diving, snorkeling and surfing. Golf enthusiasts are sure to discover paradise, while other guests may prefer a day of shopping in Puerto Vallarta or a relaxing seaside afternoon absorbing the famous Mexican Riviera sunshine. (As you probably can tell, certain descriptions of the Resort are courtesy of the Four Seasons)
We are so excited to get down there to enjoy all that the Resort has to offer and can't wait to share all of our stories and pictures with you all.
