You may have heard how we on a 2020 PCT hike and many have asked to buy a meal or ship us a box while we are on our adventure. If you would like to support us on the trail we are offering this as an option and can not thank you enough for your kindness! All of this we will be buying ourselves, but with your support, we will be able to enjoy more comfort and have more money for our relocation and new start in Washington.
The PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) is a 2,650-mile trail from Mexico to Canada that travels through 3 states, 26 National Forests, 7 National Parks, 5 State Parks, and 4 National Monuments. We feel that this is a pivotal time for our family and want to make our time together and the development of ourselves as individuals and our relationships with each other a priority.

We're going to Pacific Crest Trail!
According to REI "a thru-hike is an end-to-end backpacking trip on a long-distance trail." For the PCT that means a continuous footpath from the southern terminus at the border of Mexico at Campo, CA to the northern terminus at the border of Canada at Manning Park in British Columbia.
That is 2,650 miles of trail from Mexico to Canada that travels through 3 states, 26 National Forests, 7 National Parks, 5 State Parks, and 4 National Monuments.
We will not be isolated out in the woods six months straight. Every week or so the trail leads close to a town where we will get off for a night, stay in a hotel, shop at local stores, and eat at a restaurant. Some of these towns we may even take an extra day known as a "zero" (because zero miles of the PCT are hiked) and visit with friends and family or explore a nearby city.
Between these town days, we will be on the trail, sleeping in tents, often with little to no cell reception carrying all of our needed supplies on our backs.
