Hi everyone!
Thanks for visiting our honeymoon registry! We are really looking forward to seeing everyone for our wedding in December. It will be wonderful to have so many of our friends and family there to share this special day with us. We especially appreciate all of our friends and family that live outside of Louisiana that are planning to attend, and those unable to attend will be missed terribly.
After our engagement last December (when Patrick proposed at our housewarming party), we realized that we have more than enough towels, silverware, linens and everything else that makes up a typical wedding registry. So instead of registering for lots of trinkets and items that would just create more clutter in a home already full of so much, we have decided to celebrate our love with a honeymoon that will create memories for a lifetime. When we are an old married couple, we would love to be able to look back on our memories and experiences from our younger days, not the fancy set of china that we'll be too paranoid to ever use. We hope that our family and friends will celebrate us on our wedding day by helping us to realize our dream honeymoon that we will reminisce about and cherish for the rest of our lives together.

We're going to Las Vegas, Baby!!!!
Our honeymoon will actually begin locally, since we plan to spend both our wedding night and the following night in New Orleans. We're planning on spending as much time as possible with our family and friends that have travelled from far away just to share in this very special occasion.
Then we'll be flying to Las Vegas bright and early Monday, December 3rd, and will return on Saturday, December 8th. We wanted a vacation full of activities that we'll remember for years to come. Magic shows, comedy shows, plays (a little Monty Python never hurt), a little gambling, as well as a little pampering in the local spa. And of course, our geeky sides will not be fulfilled unless we visit the Star Trek Experience. Plus, Debbie probably wouldn't speak to us again if we went to Vegas and neglected to bring her back a Star Trek souvenir. The MGM Grand is our hotel of choice (thanks to some much needed recommendations), and we couldn't be more excited.
