Dear friends and family,

Welcome to our honeymoon registry! Not your typical registry, but one that suits us well. Experiences out in the world together - learning, adventuring, and exploring - are our most prized possessions. Our plan for this trip is to circle the globe. We'll start by heading to Europe - a week on the Mediterranean, and a week or so in France. From there we'll head to Southeast Asia, with a brief stopover in the Middle East. Truly the trip of a lifetime for us! Made possible by your loving gifts, and Eyal's patient, long-term strategy of building up frequent flyer miles.

OUR FIRST FEW NIGHTS. For most of this trip we'll be traveling on a tight budget, but there are a couple of places where we'd love to be able to splurge. This is one - a boutique hotel on the remote Greek island where we hope to get our trip started :)

Old World castle hotels in France. We've been eyeing a couple options, and we would love to stay in one for a night or two.

We'll be in Europe during the World Cup final. Here's to hoping we can travel to join an epic Argentine expat celebration somewhere in Europe! If travel expenses aren't needed, we'll use the money for other World Cup viewing expenses (ie beer).

Homestay in Oman. Oman is a gem in the Middle East - safe, stable, and very welcoming to Western tourists. We'd love to stay 1 or 2 nights with a family in Muscat that comes highly recommended.

Excursion to Nizwa. Called the "Pearl of Islam," it's full of ancient forts, castles, mosques and UNESCO heritage sites.

There is a splendid hotel in the desert mountains of Oman. Alila Jabal Akhdar - it's beautiful and unlike anywhere we've been. We'd love to stay here for a couple of nights on a stop from Europe to Asia.

Homestay and trekking excursion in SaPa, a rural area in the mountains of northern Vietnam that is home to 40+ ethnic minority groups - with Sapa Sisters, an all-female Hmong trekking guide company.

Waterproof travel gear for surviving Vietnam's monsoon season. Should be fun! We're spending most of our time on the central coast, which won't be too wet, but also planning a hiking excursion in the northern mountains where daily downpours are the norm.
