Friends and family, we can't wait to see you all in June at our wedding in Austin!!! Thank you so much for visiting our honeymoon registry website!

Right now, some of you are probably scratching your heads. A honeymoon registry? What is that, and where on earth are they going now?

To answer your questions, we are taking a trip around the world in 80 days. Just like the book!

But what about a traditional registry for home goods? For those of you who'd prefer to give a more traditional gift, we have also registered at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and would also be happy to accept gift cards from "Home Goods/TJ Maxx Home Goods". (www.homegoods.com)

If you're curious about how this works, the basic concept is to travel around the world using a multi-city airline ticket. We plan to visit 12 destinations, including Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia (Tahiti and Bora Bora), Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Thailand, Bali, and Cambodia.

I bet you're wondering how it is that we can just up and leave for 80 days. Well, after three years, Monica is planning to leave her job at Wellesley College, and Eric has a couple of months off before he returns to Audax in August. (Monica will start a new job TBD in August.)

We love traveling! Together we have traveled to Morocco, Egypt, Spain, France, England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Itay, Greece, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Turkey, Romania, Peru, Mexico, China, Thailand, Laos, Burma, Domnican Republic, St. Barts, Puerto Rico, the British Virgin Islands, the US Virgin Islands, and many other Caribbean islands. We think that travel is the best way to grow as people, the best way to become closer to each other, and the only way to see, understand, and appreciate all people from all walks of life. We will forever be bitten by the travel bug, and this is the first stop of many for the rest of our married lives.

Don't be afraid to give as much as you want, we won't hold it against you! The best part about it is that when you give a gift, we get an email that tells us what you gave and we'll send you a photo when we get back! We love you all and thank you for your love and support.
