Jason and I have been debating for some time about how to handle our wedding registry. We have both been living fairly independently for some time now, and have each accumulated a houshold full of "stuff". Neither of us has any real desire to add more to our household, and since toasters only last a year or two these days anyway, we have parted from the idea of the traditional gift registry. While Jason and I have taken many exciting trips together, we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as husband and wife! It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip that we finally settled on the honeymoon registry. We will greatly appreciate and fondly remember these gifts for years to come. We're going to New Zealand!

We will fly to Auckland where we will spend the first two nights of our trip. After small tours around Aukland, we will be picked up by a Scuba Diving tour and taken on a four day scuba diving trip. From there, we will be brought back to Auckland where a 3 day tour including hiking and sea kayaking awaits us. Our next series of activities will include renting a car and driving through the South Island, stopping in three cities for wine tastings, to play golf, horseback ride, and to go on a bicycle riding tour. During that trip, we have a different Bed and Breakfast, in a different city, for each night of travel. We will take a boat tour to watch the dolphins, and sail past many of the areas where the Lord of the Rings was filmed. Finally, we tour a volcano, and stay two nights in its associated resort, getting a couple's spa treatment while we are there. This really will be the trip of a lifetime!!
