Thanks for visiting our honeymoon registry! The big day is fast approaching and we are so excited to see everybody in Chicago in October for the wedding. It will be wonderful to have all of our friends and family there to share this special day with us. We can't wait to have a glass (or a few!) of sangria and dance the night away to some live music!

The proposal: August 19, 2006
After 9 wonderful years together I (finally!) asked Alyssa to share her life with me as my wife and partner - as most of you know that proposal did not go quite as I had planned. Between the rain that delayed our romantic picnic at the beach till the next night to the seagulls diveboming our blanket to the final straw...a sand storm that ruined our beautiful meal. And after all that she said yes without even seeing the RING!

Since we have been together so long we realized there are very few things we don't have to register for and a traditional wedding registry just wouldn't be us! We decided what better way to celebrate our love than with a honeymoon that will create memories for a lifetime. We are looking forward to sipping a margarita on the beach in Hawaii, instead of answering Alyssa's pager at 2 a.m.! We hope that family and friends will celebrate us on our wedding day by helping us realize a dream honeymoon that we will reminisce about for the rest of our lives together. We have tons of amazing things planned for our big trip and we will be sure to share lots of pics with all of you when we get back!

We're going to Maui & Kauai, Hawaii!

ALOHA!!! Hawaii here we come!!!!

We will be leaving from O'Hare in Chicago (bright and early) on Sunday October 14th at 6:55AM ... Good thing we can sleep on the plane! Alyssa will be prescribing some tranquilizers for herself to survive the 10 hour flight! We will be arriving on the island of Maui, Hawaii at 1:05PM. We are staying at The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa for 5 nights.

The day we arrive we plan to relax and hit the beach...and maybe the swim up bar! Our first night in Maui we are going to the "Drums of the Pacific Lu'au"!

In Maui our plans are endless...a couples massage on the beach at Spa Moana...scuba diving...snokeling...and maybe even a zip-line (If we don't chicken out!)

After 5 days in Maui, we are flying to the Island of Kaui, Hawaii on Friday October 19th at 10:15 AM ....Arriving at 11:10 AM... No tranquilizers needed for this one!

We are staying at Kauai Marriott Resort & Beach Club for 5 more nights! Yeah!

In Kauai we will continue our amazing vacation with more excurtions, dinners, drinks, and much relaxing!
