Ashley & Dustin

June 10, 2014

Hey everyone!

First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.
We have been blessed to have a lot of the "essential" home items a newly engaged couple needs. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! While Dustin and I have taken many exciting trips together, we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as husband and wife. It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip that we finally settled on a honeymoon registry. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new set of wine glasses (especially at Ashley's breakage rate!).
In June 2014, Dustin and Ashley will have been together for six years. In that time we have had the opportunity to bring together two families of friends and relatives. Those that have known us over the years know that we are non traditional in many senses. We have spent holidays at football games, birthdays halfway across the world or just a road trip to try some local libations. Getting married on the beach and having a clam bake/pig roast is the way we want to start our newlywed life. So sticking to our non traditional ways, this is our registry.
Thrill seeking is something that has brought us together and keeps our lives interesting. With us entering a new chapter in our lives, we were hoping to go to where alone we may never be able to reach. As you know, we both love an active travel experience with plenty of culture and adventure. We have heard and read great things about New Zealand including its natural wonders and rich cultural heritage that combined, make it an exceptional travel destination. Also, there is a man we would love to visit whom found Dustins grandfathers dogtags. Its an amazing story! Please read. The link is below. :)
Along with the excitement of our newly wed bliss, we are looking forward to this excursion to a place of such beauty. We have included some activities that would fill our thrill seeking lifestyle and complete this wonderful honeymoon and life changing experience. This is undoubtedly a once in a lifetime experience, and we thank you for your consideration in aiding us in this journey.

We'll do our best to document our experience via photo and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note.

Thanks again and we can't wait to see you at the wedding and/or party in August (or earlier!).

Love,

Dustin & Ashley
