One of the things that Yuki and I enjoy doing together most is traveling (as you can see from the little slideshow on the right). We are planning to spend our first trip together as husband and wife exploring China.
Since we're now living on the opposite sides of the planet from a lot of our friends and family, we truly hope you'll be able to make it down to Houston for our wedding!! And of course, if you can't make it to the wedding, you are always welcome to come stay here with us at our place in Paris - we love serving up home-made chocolate mousse and crême brulées!

We're going to China!
Yuki and I would love to spend our honeymoon in China!
The country is a major world power, yet is often misunderstood by the rest of the world due to its distance from most of its neighbors and its tendancy to be somewhat closed-off and inaccessible. I'd like to experience first-hand their authentic, rich culture which has developed over thousands of years of history. From distinctive art and music, to new landscapes and scenery, to unique societies and ways of live, there is so much to learn there.
Yuki, on the other hand, has already lived once in China, for a 6-month internship before coming to the US for his PhD studies. He has a good feel for the atmosphere and speaks some Chinese as well, so I'll be relying on him to navigate us through the cities (and restaurants and public transportation)! The country is so vast and diverse that there still remains quite a lot for him to discover there.
