When we arrive in Italy, we first head to Tuscany to enjoy the beautiful countryside and relax after the wedding. We will be spending a few nights in the Villa Il Poggiale just south of Florence in the Chianti region. While there, we hope to do some wine tasting, take cooking lessons and visit some of the medieval towns in the area.

We will next head to Florence where we will stay at the Hotel Balestri, on the north shore of the Arno within walking distance of the Uffizi museum and Ponte Vecchio. We can't wait to see the amazing art, including Michaelangelo's "David."

Our next stop is the heart of Italy and home of the Vatican, Rome! We'll be staying at the Hotel Genio off the Piazza Navona, in the historic district of the city, just a stone's throw from the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. We'll tour the sights of ancient Rome - the Colosseum, the Forum, and the Pantheon - and visit the cathedrals and museums of the Vatican.

Finally, we will travel by train to Venice, where we will stay on the picturesque island of Giudecca at the Hotel Domina. We will enjoy a gondola ride, visit the Doge's Palace, and spend the final days of our Honeymoon touring the canals and wine bars of the city. Before departing for home, we will spend our last evening in Milan, where we will make time to see Da Vinci's "Last Supper" and the city's beautiful Duomo.
