Hello Family and Friends,

Thank you for visiting our honeymoon registry. We are so excited about our wedding celebration coming up in the new year when we will finally be able to celebrate together with many of our loved ones. First off, we'd like to say that your continued love, support, and presence at our marriage celebration is the true gift that we desire. We hope that you will enjoy this special day as much as we will!!

As you know, Phoenix (Irfan) and I, are from different countries and nothing about our relationship thus far has been very traditional. We have both moved back and forth between Scotland and California several times in the past four years in order to be together. Our wedding registry is equally unique and we hope you will find it to be a special way to help our honeymoon dream come true!

We are still in the process of deciding where and when to "settle down" and do not yet have a home of our own to fill with all the essential household items a newlywed couple typically needs. However, we both love to travel and cannot wait to embark on our first big adventure as husband and wife!

Together we plan to explore the busy streets of Bangkok, sip cool drinks on Thailand's sandy beaches (weather permitting!), explore hiking trails, chat with village locals, and perhaps book a once in a lifetime activity like a hot air balloon ride above Thailand, zip line through the trees, or dive into unfamiliar waters. And most of all, indulge in as many Thai culinary delights as our stomachs will allow!

We have yet to book our honeymoon and your gift will shape the memories that we gain for a lifetime! We look forward to this special time together after many years of spending time apart. And, we cannot wait to share our photos and stories for years to come!

We're going to Thailand!

Our itinerary is only beginning to form, but we are planning on flying from California to Scotland in mid-August to have our final marriage celebration with our Scottish relatives that are unable to make it to our California wedding. After celebrating with our European family and friends, we will take off for a two week adventure through Thailand where we hope to discover another culture, relax while reminiscing on our FIRST YEAR of marriage, and create new memories together to share with our loved ones and take with us wherever we end up in this world.

We are headed to Thailand to seek out a mixture of recreation, adventure, pampering, relaxation, romance, culture, and cuisine. Not sure yet where all we will get to go, but we would love to experience the relaxation of the southern beaches (monsoons permitting!), mountainous jungles of the north for a bit more activity, and delve into Thai culture from tiny village to the metropolis.

For those of you that have been to Thailand or have any specific recommendations, we welcome all tips and tidbits gratefully!! We will keep you posted as our plans form!!
