Traveler's Joy Honeymoon Registry
Jennifer Williams & Kristian Roed
Hello,

We are so excited about our upcoming Texas wedding reception. It will be all the more special because you will be there to celebrate with us. So many of our friends and family knew long before we did that we would end up together. How right you were and we are so much happier because of it. We know that this may be the only time that all of our loved ones both sides of the Atlantic will be in the same room together - March 13, 2010 will be night to remember.

Although the greatest gift we could ask for is your presence at the party in Houston, should you feel compelled to give us a present, this registry will allow you to sponsor part of our Honeymoon, which we plan to spend in Turkey.

Living in Norway, the decision to spend our honeymoon in a warm and sunny location was a no-brainer (as I write it is -20 C YIKES!) and Turkey fits the bill. Turkey offers the exotic and cosmopolitan city of Istanbul, monasteries and mosques, Greek and Roman ruins, resort towns with water activities, tasty food, and more culture than than we can possibly absorb. It is the perfect destination for two curious lovebirds. But what has really has drawn us to Turkey is the Cappadocia region. We have both marveled at the photos of this unique landscape with it's fairy chimneys, colorful canyons, underground cities, and cave lodgings. It is the ideal place for Kristian to use his fancy camera.

Due to work and school, it will be a few more weeks before we can determine the specific dates of the honeymoon. We are tentatively planning to leave for Turkey early June. We hope to have the dates firmed in the weeks to come. Stay tuned. See you in March!
Istanbul
We have just arrived and can't carry all of our luggage to the hotel on foot. A taxi ride into town with a talkative local driver to give us the scoop on this fabulous city is a must.
