Traveler's Joy Honeymoon Registry
Janelle Jimenez & Hugh Prysten
Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you so much for kindly viewing our registry and thinking of us! As you may well know, both Hugh and I have a deep love and passion for travel. We have both lived in three different countries, we met in Japan, backpacked Asia for most of 2008 as an engagement trip, and continue to look at the rest of the world as potential places to visit and live.

We have shared a home for several years and already own many of the gifts traditionally given for weddings. In lieu of asking for more objects to fill our very small city apartment, we have decided to allow our friends and family the option to give us the gift of memories and experiences. Recent research has shown that positive experiences (for example, travel) are more likely to raise happiness levels than material objects. We've agreed with this for years!

For those who know us, you know our lives revolve around travel and adventure. This is our primary hobby and primary reason we do most of the things we do. We have been to about 15 countries together, which is only 10% of the countries of the world! As St. Augustine said, "the world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page."

Thank you very much for considering us and helping us see more of this big, beautiful world we live in.

Janelle & Hugh
