Hello and welcome to our honeymoon registry!

We look forward to seeing everybody on August 22nd for our big celebration. It will be wonderful to have all of our family and friends present to share this very special event with us, and we have planned a wonderful evening for you all to enjoy!

As you know by now from hearing about our trips to Burning Man, the NCAA Final Four, and the Sundance Film Festival, we both value time spent travelling, exploring, eating good food (and drinking fine wine) over owning a lot of 'things'. Our trips together are always magical because its special time set aside to just enjoy each other's company without the obligations and distractions of day-to-day life.

Naturally we hope our honeymoon will be the most special of all our travels! So we decided we would invite our loved ones to help us create a spectacular honeymoon and memories that will last a lifetime.

We're planning an 18 day European Extravaganza that will include the romantic Greek Islands, Amsterdam's canals, markets, and museums, and a Formula One race in Belgium! These are three countries that neither of us have visited, so it will be all new adventures to experience together. Read on for all the details and find out how you can help. We'll start our trip in Amsterdam, departing just about 48 hours after our wedding ceremony. Amsterdam has lots of wonderful street markets and canals to explore, as well as great design, good restaurants, and world-class museums. We plan to be very "European" in our extended week here, walking the city all day and eating in wonderful restaurants at night.

In the middle weekend of our Amsterdam stay, the Belgian Formula One race beckons from just a train ride away, so we couldn't resist indulging this shared passion. Tricia has always loved sports, and she's picked up JP's obsession for Formula One as if it were her own. Or does she just want to get a closer look at those handsome drivers?! (watch out Jenson Button!) Formula One does not race in the U.S., so this European trip is a rare opportunity to witness all the action live, and we can't wait to see it all in person!

Our honeymoon will wrap up with a week in one of the most romantic European destinations - the Greek island of Santorini. On Santorini we'll spend seven blissful days enjoying the most gorgeous views in the world, relaxing on the beach, visiting festive bars and dining on delicious Greek food. What do you think? We think it sounds fantastic!
