Stacy and Matt are going on a safari/Indian Ocean extravaganza! Even though Matt basically wrote his undergrad thesis on Africa, he has never been anywhere on the continent (except for a brief stopover in Cairo). And even though Stacy HAS been to Africa, she didn't exactly get a tourist experience while researching for school.

So: they are both hoping to change that with a trip to Tanzania. They'll experience the Tarangire Elephant Park, the Ngorogoro Crater, the Serengeti, Maasai villages, and a beautiful rock island just north of Zanzibar. Since Tanzania is below the equator, it's actually the WINTERTIME when we'll be arriving. Which is also the dry season, and a time to expect the great wildebeast migration (remember the Lion King?). We couldn't imagine a better trip for our first safari and our first time away as newlyweds.
