The Mile High Club have been a constant in the Top 10 teams in the country for several years. After placing 3rd in the 2009 WFTDA Championship tournament, they lost to the B.ay A.rea D.erby Girls in the 2010 West Region Playoffs and failed to progress to the Championships.

The team has regrouped and is strong in 2011. They finished their regular with a 10-2 record, posting wins over regional competitors Rat City, Rose City (2x) and Bay Area and only losing to 2008 WFTDA Champions Gotham Girls Roller Derby and 2009 WFTDA Champions the Oly Rollers.

The team is now preparing to attend the West Region Playoffs, the Bridgetown Brawl, in Portland. Entering as the third seed, they will play Rat City in the first round. They will be playing for a birth in the WFTDA Championship tournament, which will be hosted by the Denver Roller Dolls themselves this November.


Denver Roller Dolls is a non-profit, skater-run organization. The skaters pay to play, with their blood, sweat and tears. Unfortunately, hotels and airlines don't appear to accept those forms of currency.

The skaters work hard to compete at this level, and we want to ensure they can focus on their training in the few weeks that remain before the tournament. To take "fundraising" off their list of concerns, please consider helping them fly, rest, eat and bask in victory!
