Nick Brideau & Chelsea McLean
We realize this is somewhat of an unorthodox wedding registry. But, both of us are graduate students and will be finishing our degrees soon, which means that we will be moving in the very near future. Our plans for after graduation are complete, and we will be moving to Oxford, UK. Since we will be moving overseas, we will be taking with us only what we can fit into two suitcases each! So, based on our current situation, we decided it would be a much safer idea to register for our honeymoon than it would be for us to register for more traditional items. Plus, we think this is a wonderful way to involve our family and friends in creating special memories that will be with us forever.
Love,
Chelsea and Nick

For our honeymoon, we will be traveling to the romantic islands of Hawai'i. Over the course of 10 days, we will visit three different islands: Maui, Kauai, and Molokai.
Maui is the second most visited island, behind Oahu, and offers everything lush tropical rainforests, to roadside waterfalls, unsurpassed hiking, and beautiful beaches. In addition to the diversity of natural ecosystems, this is also the most developed of the three islands we will be visiting and offers the best shopping, dining, and nightlife.
Kauai is known as the Garden Island and is the oldest of the Hawai'ian islands. As its' nickname implies, this island is very lush with tropical rainforests and is less developed than Maui, making it ideal for a relaxation. In fact, there is a law on Kauai that no building can be taller than the tallest coconut tree.
Like Kauai, on Molokai there are no buildings taller than a coconut tree. This island is very natural, so natural that the Northern side is only accessible by boat or plane. It has the steepest sea cliffs in the world, over 1,000 feet tall, and hundreds of waterfalls cascade from the cliffs. And the West side is home of the longest white sand beach in Hawai'i.
We're excited to explore what each of the islands has to offer and to experience the different "personalities" of each island as well!
