Brooke Christensen & Eli Hart
We've decided to have a small family wedding ceremony up at Bianca and Steve's cabin. It is a wonderful, cozy place nestled up on Mt. Hood that we both enjoy spending time at very much. Then we'll head back for a back yard bar-b-que style reception with all our friends and family. Thank you to everyone trying to make it to the party, and to those who can't, we understand and will send plenty of pictures!
After some thought about the long, rainy, winter months in Portland we decided a tropical paradise honey moon will give us more enjoyment than a tangible household item. So we welcome you to participate in helping us have a dream honeymoon that we will reminisce about for the rest of our lives together.
Love,
Brooke and Eli

We are planning a trip to the beautiful Cook Islands! Jealous, anyone?
We will be escaping to two remote islands, far from the hustle and hum of the modern world.
The 1st part of the honeymoon will be on the hook-shaped atoll of Aitutaki, the second most visited island, which sits at the top of one of the world's largest coral lagoons, packed with giant clams and technicolor tropical fish. This is where Brooke will be scuba diving with dolphins and morrish idols and Eli will be sipping out of coconuts, wading in the lagoon. We also want to explore the island by hiking to the top of Mount Maungapu where we will watch the sunset while enjoying a bottle of wine. One of the highlights of Aitutaki will be our lagoon excursion to Tapuaetai (One Foot) Island. We also plan to eat at Cafe Tupuna, known for its fresh fish and sand floors.
Next to a blend of beautiful mountains, dense jungle and the glorious bone-white beaches is were we will be spending the last leg of the trip. Rarotonga is the largest of the 15 fascinating islands, where we"ll experience a thousand years of Polynesian culture. We will be staying at the Rarotongan Beach Resort were we will be sure to pamper ourselves. (in case any of you were concerned). We also plan on spending our days snorkeling in the lagoon, hiking, and biking the entire circumference of the island. Not to mention the great food and drinks we'll be indulging in!
Thank you so much for contributing to the trip of a lifetime. We will be sure to take lots of pictures that we can share with everyone when we get home.
Meitaki!
