Hello family and friends!

We did it! We booked our "Round the World" airline tickets...our honeymoon adventure is really happening.

This travel registry is a way to help us make the details of our honeymoon world-tour dreams come true! We are so looking forward to this incredible adventure as husband and wife.

We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember your gift for years to come...and we promise to share plenty of pictures.

Of course, your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift you could give. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us for our BIG DAY is something we deeply appreciate.

Thank you so much. We are truly thrilled that we will be able to celebrate our happy occasion with you. We can't wait to see you at the wedding!

Love,
Brittany + Triton

We're going to "Around the World in 80 Days!"!

First stop: BRAZIL
We'll begin our honeymoon on the beaches of Brazil. After flying in to Rio, we'll travel 3 hours up the coast to Buzios. There, we'll spend a few nights in a nice hotel -- likely the nicest accommodations we'll have on our trip! In Buzios, we'll lie on the beaches, enjoy honeymoon treats (breakfast in bed!), and enjoy the small town nearby. Then we'll head back to Rio for a few days of fun in Ipanema and Copacabana. We'll likely stay in a hostel as we check out the city, the urban beaches, and the nightlife.

Next: ARGENTINA
From Brazil, we'll fly over to Buenos Aires. Almost immediately after arriving, we'll head over to El Calafate to launch our 4-day Patagonian trek near the Argentine-Chilean border. While there, we'll spend a day exploring the Perrito Moreno glacier. Back in Buenos Aires, we'll soak up the city fun with tango lessons, art museums, and cafe stops. We may even pop over to Colonia, Uruguay for the day, just a short ferry ride across the Rio Uruguay.

On to: KENYA
From Buenos Aires, we have a loooooong flight over to Nairobi, Kenya. After a few days in Nairobi, we depart for a 3-week overland trek ending in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The group trek is all camping and adventure and includes visits to the plains of the Serengeti, the shores of Lake Malawi, and the bazaars of Zanzibar. Along the way, we'll pass through the countries of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Down to: SOUTH AFRICA
Our trek ends on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day, we'll fly down to Cape Town, South Africa. We'll spend a week there visiting Robben Island, the site of Nelson Mandela's long imprisonment, seeing the elephant sanctuary, drinking up the South African wine, and maybe checking out the Great White Sharks! We'll party it up in Cape Town for New Year's Eve, ringing in 2012 from the southern hemisphere!

Next up: TURKEY
In Turkey, we'll visit mosques, bazaars, and the clash of Eastern and Western cultures that makes up the great city of Istanbul. After exploring the city, we'll head to the beautiful beaches of southern Turkey to enjoy the sun and surf.

Then: THAILAND
We arrive in Bangkok for a few days, then will head over to Cambodia for a brief visit. We'll return to Thailand, visit the interior jungles, and then hit up Phuket and all that the southern islands have to offer. This is a chance to relax after the trekking and adventuring we'll have done all over the globe. Many of our final days in Thailand will be spent lying on a beach and relaxing. Ahhhhhh....

On to: CAMBODIA
In Cambodia, we'll spend 4 days visiting the ancient ruins of Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a temple complex built for the king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. Think of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom -- the site is said to be majestic and mystical. Ruins overgrown with jungle vines, an oddly haunting and exotic scene.

Stopping in: HONG KONG
We'll be nearly ready for home but, on our way back, we'll do a final stop in Hong Kong for a last fling before returning to the states. In Hong Kong, we'll shop, relax, and visit Victoria Peak. We may even do a night out in Lan Kwai Fong.

Finally: HOME!
