About the ProgramThe I Do Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping engaged couples support charitable causes through their celebrations. Since launching in 2002, the Foundation has helped thousands of couples raise over $2 million in charitable donations.By registering with the I Do Foundation, couples can have a percentage of their Traveler's Joy purchases donated to a charity of their choice at no additional cost to them or their guests. Your Traveler's Joy registry and wedding website will remain exactly the same. You just need to tell the I Do Foundation what organization you'd like to support!
How Can We Sign Up?
How Else Can We Raise Donations Through Our Celebration?For couples looking to raise additional money for their charitable selections, the I Do Foundation offers several exciting programs you might be interested in: Wedding Favors for Charity: Looking for wedding favors that are unique, meaningful, and will always remind guests of your special day? Make a donation to your favorite charity in honor of your guests - the most personal gift you can give.
Charitable Invitations: If you've registered at the I Do Foundation, you can raise 10% for your charity on any purchases made through I Do Expressions Store. High quality invitations, save-the-date notes, and thank-you cards, are available in thousands of colors and styles.
Charity Registry: As a supplement to your Traveler's Joy Honeymoon Registry, you can set up a Charity Registry at IDoFoundation.org and have your guests donate directly to your chosen charity.
[1] The I Do Foundation can only approve organizations that meet the following criteria:
* The organization must be recognized as a tax-exempt organization under the 501(c)(3) ruling of the IRS code. * The organization's mission statement must include a focus on issues of social justice or equity for low-income or underserved populations. * The organization must explicitly seek to have an impact on the lives of low-income people and/or underserved communities.
[2] Current contribution levels:
1.0% of the registry gift amounts up to $1,499 1.5% of the registry gift amounts from $1,500 to $2,999 2.0% of the registry gift amounts from $3,000 to $4,999 2.5% of the registry gift amounts from $5,000 to $6,999 3.0% of the registry gift amounts over $7,000
