Hello everyone,

One of the greatest gifts we could receive is your attendance at our wedding to share in this very special day in our lives. We truly appreciate you taking part in our wedding, and look forward to toasting an Olifant cocktail with you there.

After the wedding, John and I have decided to honeymoon in Tahiti, otherwise known as heaven on earth. Because we have been together for so many years before our wedding, we have accumulated a lot of nice things that other newlyweds would put on their registry. Therefore, we thought it would be a great idea to do a honeymoon registry. Plus, the way Megan breaks wine glasses around our house, the memories from our honeymoon are probably going to last longer than the items on any registry. We are looking forward to this vacation very much and appreciate your generousity in making it a reality.

We're going to Moorea & Bora Bora!

After much research and discussion, we decided on Tahiti as the location for our honeymoon, as it appears to be paradise. Although going back to Rottnest Island in Australia or Fiji were considered, ultimately, we decided that we wanted to go somewhere we have never been before and would likely never have this opportunity to visit again. Being the water lovers that we are, Tahiti fit our vacation style perfectly.

We will fly into Papeete, Tahiti, and then take a plane to Moorea, where we will stay in a beachfront bungalow for 4 nights. We are planning a variety of water-related activites while we are there, including snorkeling with sharks, kayaking, and all sorts of boating excursions. We hope to do at least one romantic, secluded beach lunch and possibly a couples massage while we are there. After Moorea, we are headed by way of ferry to Bora Bora, where we are switching our accomodation to an overwater bungalow for 3 nights. We are looking forward to being able to dive off our own personal deck into the water to cool off and snorkel. We would love to do a sunset catamaran tour, 4x4 jeep tour, jet ski and other water sports while we are there. Overall, this vacation promises to be relaxing, romantic, and memorable!
