Hello, friends and family, and thank you for visiting our travel registry!

Steve and I chose to use a travel registry upon the realization that we live in a shoe box- sized apartment in Boston, and all the wonderful gifts we would receive would end up in boxes in my parents' basement (my parents are likely pleased with this decision also). In addition, my grad school tuition has not left us with much expendable cash (we keep chanting, "it will pay off... it will pay off..."). In the end, we felt that your generosity would not be wasted on a honeymoon that we may not have been able to take otherwise and will remember for a lifetime.

Thank you, and see you at wedding!
Love, Steve and Liz

We're going to Curacao!

Steve and I have been debating where to go for our honeymoon for months... I (being the sentimental one) wanted to go somewhere that neither of us had been, and Steve, spoiling all my fun, has been almost everywhere with his sailing career.
We also had problems scheduling a trip, since I have limited time off from school. As it turns out, we must wait until December, so we opted to choose somewhere warm and tropical.

After much research, we settled on Curacao, the largest of the Netherlands Antilles. It is a Carribean island that boasts 18 beaches (on which I look forward to lounging), tons of water sports (including scuba diving, which Steve shall love), a rich history, and of course, the Curacao Liqueur Distillary. There is also a lot of tax free shopping, so if you help send us there, we promise to bring back lots of goodies!

Mainly, Steve and I want to go somewhere off the beaten path, where we can relax and enjoy each other's company, sans school work and work-work, and all other things less pleasant than a tropical island. We thank you for considering a contribution towards our trip, and shall reward you with lots of pictures which we will post after our trip.

Thanks for sharing our day, and for making our trip possible!
